Socialist Party of Moldova calls for strengthening partner relations with Russia

It was stated that both countries have ample opportunities to strengthen and expand partner relations in political and economic spheres on the basis of trust and mutual understanding

CHISINAU, April 6. /TASS/. The Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM) congratulated the Russian leadership on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries and called for further enhancing of cooperation.

"The fraternal peoples of Moldova and Russia, united by the Orthodox faith, common history and close cultures, have always lived in peace and harmony. <...> Our countries have ample opportunities to strengthen and expand partner relations in political and economic spheres on the basis of trust and mutual understanding," the PSRM’s statement said.

The Socialist Party assured that "it will make every effort to maintain positive momentum in bilateral relations," as well as enhance inter-party cooperation with the United Russia and ‘A Just Russia - For Truth’ parties.
