Russophile Movement offers 'natural antibody' to anti-Russian war — Argentinian politician

The second congress of the International Russophile Movement started on Tuesday

BUENOS AIRES, February 28. /TASS/. The Russophile Movement offers an appropriate response to the hybrid war being waged against Russia, Argentinian politician Carlos Gaston Roma said after the second congress of the International Russophile Movement in Moscow.

He emphasized the importance of this movement and called it "an antibody that emerges naturally to counter the entire hybrid war policy, disinformation and indoctrination against Russia," Argentina’s Diario Popular newspaper quoted him as saying.

In his opinion, Russia has been one of the cradles of civilization, including in the West, so "the desire to destroy history, intellectuals, athletes, the entire Russian people, who have contributed so much to the development of the West and the whole world, is simply senseless." "This is why the Russophile Movement arises naturally," the politician explained.

The second congress of the International Russophile Movement started on Tuesday. It brought together more than 350 representatives from 130 countries. Russian President Vladimir Putin noted in his welcome speech that, "the Russophile Movement is making a significant contribution toward countering the attempts of the collective West to achieve the international isolation of Russia, helping to disseminate objective, reliable information about our country abroad, and exposing anti-Russian fabrications and propagandistic myths."
