HAIKOU /China/, November 2. /TASS/. The resort city of Sanya is actively promoting stronger contacts between South China's Hainan Province and Kazakhstan in the field of traditional medical practices, the Sanya Daily newspaper reported.
Sanya's Chinese Medicine Clinic has recently sent a group of specialists to Almaty, the paper wrote. The purpose of the trip is to provide Kazakhstani with an opportunity to use alternative medicine, to promote them among the general population of this Central Asian country.
The Chinese medics restored the work of a medical center, created several years ago in Almaty by the clinic, the report states. According to the publication, services provided by a group of doctors are from the PRC are popular not only among local residents; some patients arrived for treatment all the way from Uzbekistan.
The Sanya Chinese Medicine Clinic opened its Almaty office in December 2017. In addition to face-to-face appointments, this branch offers to take advantage of the telemedicine program. A group of professionals headed by the head of the center, Sa Ren, is working in the former capital of Kazakhstan.
