Ukraine launches over 80 drones at eight districts in Belgorod Region in past day

BELGOROD, March 20. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces launched 82 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and 32 munitions at eight districts in Russia’s Belgorod Region over the past 24 hours, injuring two civilians, regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel.

"In the Shebekinsky district, the city of Shebekino, the settlements of Maslova Pristan, Bolshetroitskoye, Grafovka, Rzhevka, Balki, Maryino, Mukhin, Pankov, and Rzhavets were targeted by four shells in one round of shelling and 32 drones, 27 of which were intercepted and neutralized. A storage facility of an enterprise was damaged in the city of Shebekino," he wrote, adding that a man, who suffered an injury in a UAV attack, applied to the Shebekino central district hospital on his own. Moreover, a woman, who sustained barotrauma, sought assistance in Belgorod city hospital No. 2.

Over the past day, two business facilities, a passenger car, and a power line were damaged in the district. A total of 24 UAVs were launched at the Valuysky district, damaging nine private houses, nine vehicles, and a gas pipe.

The Belgorod district was attacked by nine drones. An agricultural enterprise building was damaged in the settlement of Tserkovny, and an infrastructure communication facility of an enterprise was damaged in the settlement of Oktyabrsky. Nine projectiles and four UAVs were launched at the Volokonovsky district, causing damage to four private houses, a community facility, and an outbuilding.

Five munitions and two drones were launched at the Krasnoyaruzhsky district. A passenger car was damaged. In the Rakityansky district, the settlement of Ilek-Koshary was attacked by one UAV, which resulted in the destruction of an agricultural enterprise hangar by fire.

An air defense system shot down two drones over the Alekseyevsky district, causing no injuries or damage. "In the Grayvoronsky district, 14 munitions in three rounds of shelling and eight drones were launched at the settlements of Gorkovsky, Bezymeno, Kozinka, and Poroz. There were no injuries or damage," the regional head added.
