Putin, Lukashenko talked for over an hour behind closed doors

According to the media, talks with the expanded circle of participants, in the format of a lunch, have just begun

MOSCOW, March 13, /TASS/. Talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko with a limited circle of participants lasted slightly more than an hour, the Pul Pervogo Telegram channel, which is close to the presidential press service, reported.

"[Talks with the] expanded circle of participants, in the format of a lunch, have just begun. The presidents spoke one-on-one for an hour and three minutes," the channel reported.

The expanded circle of participants includes Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich, Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov, as well as the ministers of finance, industry and energy.

The Russian delegation includes Deputy Prime Ministers Alexander Novak and Alexey Overchuk, Deputy Presidential Administration Head Maxim Oreshkin, Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Industry and Trade Minister Anton Alikhanov, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov and the head of the Russian Federal State Agency for Health and Consumer Rights (Rospotrebnadzor) Anna Popova.
