Allied forces control Kremennaya, ready to rebuff Ukrainian army — DPR, LPR military

It is noted that there are no hostilities in the city

DONETSK, October 3. /TASS/. The allied forces control the city of Kremennaya in the LPR and are ready to rebuff attempts by Ukraine’s military to attack, the spokesmen for the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s militia said in videos uploaded to their Telegram channels on Monday.

"The situation in Kremennaya is calm and stable. The city is completely under the control of the people's militia. The allied forces have taken up defensive positions along the engagement line on the border of the Lugansk People's Republic," a spokesman for the LPR militia said. "The city itself is not being shelled at the moment. There are no hostilities in the city. The people's militia are in full control and ready to give a decisive rebuff to the Ukrainian Nazis."

"We are in the city of Kremennaya. Near Krasny Liman the enemy achieved some success, but it has failed to attain its main aim - to encircle and destroy our garrisons in [Krasny] Liman. The trap did not work," the spokesman said. "Now the enemy is trying to push ahead from Torskoye, Chernopopovka, and also towards Svatovo. The city of Kremennaya is getting ready for defense. Our cannons and rocket artillery never stop for a second."

On Monday, the LPR people's militia’s spokesman, Andrey Marochko, said that the allied forces had entrenched themselves on the outskirts of Kremennaya. The Ukrainian army’s group that had previously crossed the administrative border of the republic in order to try to break through the defenses of the allied forces in the area was almost completely destroyed, while the remaining scattered groups retreated to their previous positions.

On October 1, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said that allied troops had been pulled out of Krasny Liman in the Donetsk People's Republic to avoid encirclement. Konashenkov said the troops were relocated to better positions. He also stated that the Russian army had destroyed more than 200 Ukrainian soldiers near Krasny Liman, but the enemy commissioned reserves and continued the offensive, relying on its significant superiority in manpower and materiel.
