MOSCOW, March 25. /TASS/. The Russian Investigative Committee has been putting together requests to seven countries over attacks on Russian embassies and consulates abroad, Chairman of the Committee Alexander Bastrykin said in an interview with TASS.

"Once the media war and hate-mongering campaign against Russia was unleashed amid the special operation by our military personnel, attacks on Russian foreign missions began in European countries, [namely] in the Netherlands, Ireland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Poland, France and Estonia. We also have recorded all this information in the framework of criminal cases, and in the future, we will file requests for legal assistance to the competent authorities of these countries," Bastrykin promised.

He added that since 2014, 21 attacks on Russia’s foreign missions have been recorded in Ukraine, namely in Kiev, Kharkov, Lvov, in addition to obstructing Russian citizens from exercising their electoral rights on the territory of Ukraine.
