MOSCOW, March 6. /TASS/. Amendments to the list of parallel import goods are ready and will mainly focus on reducing the list in terms of cosmetics and home care products, Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Roman Chekushov told reporters.
The order on amendments can be signed by the ministry by the end of March, he noted.
"Amendments are ready. Plans remain the same - the first quarter has not ended yet. The draft order was prepared. The latest sectoral points are being worked out. The main approach is to gradually reduce the list of goods and brands included in parallel imports. Therefore, these changes will be more focused to reduce the list of goods where we have achieved success in the first instance. These are chemical industries, cosmetics and home care products in the first wave," Chekushov said.
Russian producers achieved full self-support for many products in this sphere, the official added.
