Expert projects pork exports from Russia to gain up to 20% to around 350,000 tons in 2025

MOSCOW, February 7. /TASS/. Russia’s pork exports may rise by 15-20% by the end of 2025 to around 350,000 tons, the head of the National Union of Pig Breeders Yury Kovalyov said.

"This year we plan an around 15-20% rise in exports (of pork - TASS) to roughly 350,000 tons," he told reporters.

In 2024, Russia exported around 300,000 tons of pork, which accounts for about 6% of production, the expert noted, adding that exports are projected to reach 500,000-550,000 tons by 2030.
