Price of gold futures on Comex down below $2,600 per troy ounce first since September 19

MOSCOW, November 12. /TASS/. The price of gold futures contracts for December 2024 delivery on the Comex exchange (a division of the New York Mercantile Exchange) has dropped below $2,600 per troy ounce for the first time since September 19, according to trading data.

As of 12:08 p.m. Moscow time (9:08 a.m. GMT) the gold price was down by 0.72% at $2,598.8 per troy ounce. As of 12:27 p.m. Moscow time (9:27 a.m. GMT) the price of gold was down by 0.65% at $2,600.6 per troy ounce.

Meanwhile, the price of Brent futures contracts for January delivery on London's ICE was up by 0.39% at $72.18 per barrel. The price of futures contracts of WTI crude oil for December delivery was up by 0.65% at $68.38 per barrel.
