McDonald's to resume work with traditional suppliers after rebranding — source

On March 14, McDonald’s suspended operations of all their food outlets in Russia

MOSCOW, June 2. /TASS/. Food outlets under the new McDonald's brand have already resumed work with the majority of customary suppliers, a source close to the company told TASS on Thursday.

"Restaurants that will open under the new brand on June 12 and will be opened later have already resumed work with customary suppliers. Products were 98-99% of Russian origin even before," the source said.

McDonald’s suspended operations of all their food outlets in Russia on March 14. The company announced its withdrawal from Russia on May 16 and sold its business to a Russian owner with mediation of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
