Russia, Armenia to jointly overcome sanction challenges — statement

The leaders consider necessary to continue building up the trade turnover between two countries, increasing its volume and nomenclature

MOSCOW, April 19. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed concerns in connection with unilateral sanctions of certain countries during talks on Tuesday and expressed the intention to jointly overcome related challenges, according to the joint statement of leaders posted on the Kremlin’s website.

"Putin and Pashinyan expressed concern in connection with the application of unilateral restrictive measures by certain countries. The intention was expressed to jointly overcome challenges driven by mentioned measures, including in the sphere of food and energy security of two countries, logistics, and so on," the document says.
