Tactical Missiles Corporation makes 10% of all global weapons, up to 20% of all naval arms

The share of the Tactical Missiles Corporation, one of the leaders in the global market for air-, ground-and sea-based high-precision weapons, is 10% for aircraft weapons, and up to 20% for naval weapons, a representative of the corporation told TASS in the run-up to the Aero India 2023 international exhibition in Bangalore.

"The corporation’s share on the global market of aviation high-precision weapons equals around 10%, while the share of naval armament totals up to 20%. The corporation’s products have proved perfectly effective in high-intensity actual combat used in various environments," the representative said.

Last year marked 20 years since the corporation’s founding, he noted, adding that during this time, it has expanded to 40 enterprises, with the range of high-precision weapons produced and the topics of scientific research expanding significantly. "Currently, proprietary technologies in the area of promising construction materials, thermal protection, engines, guidance systems, and software are being developed. The principles of using artificial intelligence in the systems of target management and discrimination are being improved," the corporation said.

Tactical Missiles Corporation was established in accordance with a presidential decree dated January 24, 2002. It focuses on the production of high-precision missiles, guided missiles and air-, ground-and sea-based weapons systems.

The 14th Aero India 2023 international air show will be held in Bangalore from February 13 to 17. The event is held once every two years. Russia is an active participant in the exhibition, having presented more than 200 samples of its military products this year.
