Fire breaks out at Ukraine's largest hydroelectric power plant

According to Ukrhydroenergo company, there is no threat of a breach

MOSCOW, March 22. /TASS/. A fire has broken out at the Dnieper hydroelectric power plant in the Kiev-controlled city of Zaporozhye, the Ukrhydroenergo company reported.

"At the moment, the fire at the plant is continuing. Emergency services and engineers are working at the site," the company said in a statement on its Telegram channel.

It added that the situation at the dam was under control and there was no threat of a breach.

The Dnieper hydroelectric power plant is the largest hydroelectric power plant in Ukraine.
