MOSCOW, December 17. /TASS/. Bugging devices have been exposed in the office of Ukrainian Army Commander-in-Chief Valery Zalyzhny, the RBC-Ukraine agency said, citing sources in military circles.

According to the sources, the bugs were found on Saturday before the beginning of the working day. The sources say that the devices are equipped with unidentified elements making it impossible to track those who installed them.

The Ukrainskaya Pravda media outlet said that bugs were also found in rooms of Zaluzhny office’s employees.

The Ukrainian and Western mass media have been reporting frictions between Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Army Commander-in-chief Valery Zaluzhny. In an article for The Economist, Zaluzhny admitted that the conflict around Ukraine has reached a dead end. In an interview with the same magazine, he said that Ukrainian troops would not be able to make a breakthrough on the engagement line. The Ukrainian presidential office slammed Zaluzhny’s statements. According to the Strana media outlet, Zaluzhny’s remarks may reveal his presidential aspirations. Ukraine’s media also anticipate Zaluzhny’s resignation.
