"As a result of Israel’s strike on the Jabalia camp today, ninety people have died," a ministry’s official said

DUBAI, December 17. /TASS/. The death toll from the Israel’s strike on the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip has climbed to 90, the Al Arabiya television channel said, citing Gaza’s health ministry.

"As a result of Israel’s strike on the Jabalia camp today, ninety people have died," a ministry’s official said.

According to earlier reports, at least 30 people were killed in the attack and dozens were missing.

The ministry’s director general, Munir al-Barsh, told the Al Jazeera television channel that strikes were delivered on two houses, killing at least 33 people, including 15 children. One hundred people are missing, he added.

On December 1, Israel accused Hamas of violating the ceasefire that had been in force in the Gaza Strip since November 24 and resumed its operation in the enclave. Palestine’s authorities placed the blame for the resumption of hostilities on the United States.
