MOSCOW, February 24. /TASS/. The United States is not seeking a conflict with Russia, Washington only wants to make Moscow leave Ukraine, US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland told TASS in an interview.

Answering to a question about the possibility of a Third World War, the US diplomat replied: "My president has been very clear - we don’t seek conflict with Russia, we seek Russia’s departure from Ukraine."

US President Joe Biden said in an address in the Polish capital of Warsaw that his country and its European allies were not seeking to bring Russia under its control or to destroy it. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said on Wednesday that Biden’s address in Poland was a yet another failed attempt to put pressure on Moscow.
