Russia’s membership in OECD Nuclear Energy Agency suspended from May 11

Russian membership was suspended on 11 April following a decision by the OECD’s ruling body, the Agency said

MOSCOW, April 14. /TASS/. Russia’s membership in the Nuclear Energy Agency of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) will be suspended from May 11, the Agency said on Wednesday.

"Russian membership of the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) was suspended on 11 April following a decision by the OECD’s ruling body. The Russian Federation has been informed accordingly and the suspension will enter into force on 11 May," it said.

Russia joined the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency in 2013.
