India becomes strong country prioritizing relations with Russia — Moscow’s envoy

Denis Alipov emphasized that India "considers Russia as one of the strategic priorities"

NEW DELHI, March 8. /TASS/. India has become a strong country that sees relations with Russia as a strategic priority, Moscow’s Ambassador to New Delhi Denis Alipov said at an event hosted by the India Today TV channel.

"India is very consistent and has become strong enough to rely on itself. And its foreign policy is driven by national interests; i is driven by the mandate of the Indian people," he pointed out.

Alipov emphasized that India "considers Russia as one of the strategic priorities."

"We have our own foreign policy concept in which India is one of the top priorities. I am very optimistic about the future of our relations," the Russian envoy concluded.
