Kremlin spokesman wishes US diplomat Nuland devoted her talents to peaceful activities

According to Dmitry Peskov, Victoria Nuland also did a lot for the resumption of Russia-US confrontation

SOCHI, March 6. /TASS/. US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland should have devoted her talents to peaceful activities, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Russian TV journalist Pavel Zarubin.

"Nuland is a very talented diplomat who played an important role at the [US] Department of State but she should have devoted her talents to peaceful activities," he said.

"She certainly played a major part in creating instability in Ukraine in 2014 and provoking and carrying out a coup in Ukraine," Peskov added. According to him, Nuland also did a lot for the resumption of Russia-US confrontation.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced earlier that Nuland would step down as under secretary of state in the coming weeks.
