Russian President Putin vows to pay visits to country’s new territories

He added that "there is no other way about it"

MOSCOW, December 10. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin pledged to pay visits to Russia’s new territories, the president said following the ceremony awarding Gold Star medals to Heroes of the Russian Federation.

Journalist of Russia’s Rossiya-1 TV Channel Pavel Zarubin posted a fragment of Putin’s statement on his Telegram channel.

Artyom Zhoga, the Donetsk People’s Republic parliament speaker, told Putin after the ceremony earlier this week: "When it calms down a bit, we will be glad to see you visiting our territories."

"Thank you. I will definitely do it and there is no other way about it," Putin replied.
