MOSCOW, September 27. /TASS/. Russia should not "throw" additional volumes of grain on the market in conditions of decline in prices, President Vladimir Putin said at the meeting with Minister of agriculture Alexander Tkachev.

"The price of grain has slightly fallen, we should keep it in mind and not to hurry to "throw" additional volumes to the market, but rather to work for the farmer keeping the desired level of prices," he said.

Speaking of exports, the head of state said it was necessary to consider a number of other factors. In addition to the situation with prices, the president said that the authorities should keep in mind how to meet, first and foremost, the country’s own interests.

"With all the growing exports the supply on domestic market is still task number one," Putin said.
