MOSCOW, February 5. /TASS/. Commercial oil reserves in the United States increased by 8.7 mln barrels in a week and amounted to 423.8 mln barrels as of January 31, 2025, the US Department of Energy reported.
The ministry specified that the current volume of reserves is 5% lower than the five-year average for this time of year.
As of 18:35 Moscow time, the price of April Brent oil futures on London’s ICE exchange fell by 1.31% to $75.05 per barrel, and the price of WTI oil futures for March delivery lost 1.22%, falling to $71.54 per barrel.
