MOSCOW, September 1. /TASS/. Russian air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian drone over the Belgorod Region bordering Ukraine, the Russian defense ministry said.

"At about 6:15 p.m. Moscow time (3:15 p.m. GMT) on September 1, 2024, another Kiev regime’s attempted terrorist attacks on facilities in Russia’s territory with the use of fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles was thwarted. A Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed over the Belgorod Region," it said.
