At least nine killed in Israeli air raids on Yemen — TV

Earlier, the same television said two central power plants in Sanaa had come under attack

DUBAI, December 19. /TASS/. At least nine people have been killed in Israeli air strikes on Yemen, Al Masirah television aligned with Houthi rebels reported.

According to the TV channel, seven people were killed in an air raid on the port of As-Salif, and two more died in an attack on the Ras Isa oil facility in the Hodeidah governorate.

Earlier, the same television said two central power plants in Sanaa had come under attack.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that it had conducted precise strikes on Houthi military targets in Yemen, including ports and power facilities in Sanaa. "IAF (Israeli Air Force) fighter jets, with the direction of the Intelligence Directorate and the Israeli Navy, struck military targets belonging to the Houthi terrorist regime on the western coast and in inland Yemen," the Israel military reported.

Prior to that, the IDF reported the interception of a missile launched from Yemen. Israel has repeatedly warned that the continued attacks on its territory would not be left unanswered.
