FSB publishes papers on participation of Latvian Nazi collaborators in mass murder of Jews

The accompanying memo notes that "Latvia is one of those countries that have been actively rebuilding Nazism during the last three decades"

MOSCOW, June 20. /TASS/. Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) published a package of documents detailing participation of Latvian Nazi collaborators in murder of hundreds of thousands of Jews, including those transported out of European countries.

The accompanying memo notes that "Latvia is one of those countries that have been actively rebuilding Nazism during the last three decades."

"Latvian authorities honors the ‘veterans’ of the Latvian SS Legion and other criminal collaborationist militias, who hold their parades every year, while simultaneously banning the celebration of May 9, the Victory Day," reads the memo, published on the FSB website.

The FSB noted that, following the occupation of the Latvian Soviet Socialist Republic by Nazi German forces, the collaborationists eagerly joined the Nazis and took part in the "solution of the Jewish issue," meaning mass murder of Jews, accompanied by robbery, torture and blatant sadism towards the victims.
