MOSCOW, March 12. /TASS/. Abkhazia's President Raul Khadzhimba will visit Moscow in May to take part in the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the World War II victory, the country's foreign minister said on Thursday.
"We have received an invitation," Vyacheslav Chirikba said. "This is a great honour for us to take part in these events."
"The Victory anniversary is a holy day for all of us," he said. "Abkhazia took part in that war. We live due to the sacrifice of those who fought in that war."
The minister said that Victory Day would be widely celebrated in his country.
