Kiev itself confesses to being ruled from outside — Kremlin aide

"Our president [Vladimir Putin] has repeatedly said that the current Kiev authorities are neither sovereign nor independent when making crucial political decisions," Vladimir Medinsky noted

MOSCOW, November 28. /TASS/. The Ukrainian authorities are now themselves admitting that they are not independent - decisions are prescribed to them from outside, Russian Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky told journalists.

He was commenting on remarks by Ukrainian politician David Arakhamiya that after the Istanbul talks between representatives of Russia and Ukraine, Boris Johnson (British Prime Minister at the time) came to Kiev and asked that they not sign the drafted agreement, but "just fight."

"Our president [Vladimir Putin] has repeatedly said that the current Kiev authorities are neither sovereign nor independent when making crucial political decisions. Now we see that they themselves admit this. They themselves are forced to admit that they are being ruled from outside. So, as always, the president turned out to be right," Medinsky said in reply to a question.
