Russian forces advance by another 100 meters near Priyutnoye in Zaporozhye — politician

"Our boys have advanced by another 100 meters are entrenching in positions after successful counterattacks," Vladimir Rogov said

MELITOPOL, October 25. /TASS/. Russian forces have moved forward by another 100 meters near the village of Priyutnoye in the Zaporozhye Region, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia movement, told TASS.

"There is a tactical and positional improvement in the Vremevka area north of Priyutnoye. Our boys have advanced by another 100 meters and, just like in the Vasilievka area, are entrenching in positions after successful counterattacks," Rogov said.

Oleg Chekhov, a spokesman for the battlegroup East, said on October 21 that Russian forces had repelled a Ukrainian attack near Priyutnoye and also thwarted four attempts to rotate Ukrainian units in the south Donetsk area. The day before, Rogov told TASS about the advance of Russian forces by 200 meters near Priyutnoye and Novodarovka.

Ukrainian forces have been making unsuccessful attempts at an offensive since June 4. Russian President Vladimir Putin said on October 5 that Ukraine had lost more than 90,000 servicemen and more than 550 tanks over the past four months. Putin said on October 15 that the Ukrainian counteroffensive had failed, although Kiev was preparing new offensive operations in certain spots along the frontline.
