MOSCOW, November 20. /TASS/. Two of the three foreigners, who were detained on suspicion of selling drugs that poisoned 20 people in the southern Russian city of Astrakhan, have confessed to the crime, according to the Russian Interior Ministry.
In a video provided to TASS by the ministry, one of the young men said that he had come to Russia from Kyrgyzstan, lived in Moscow and worked at a construction job. He said that later he went to the Stavropol Region in southern Russia, where he came into possession of illicit drugs. Then, he went to Astrakhan to sell the drugs as he needed money.
Another detainee said he came to the city with friends and in possession of a box of drugs, according to the video. He added he had sold all the banned substances he had.
