Indonesia to join BRICS Bank — President

The decision was made after the proposal made by the bank's chief Dilma Rousseff and following consultations with the financial bloc of the Indonesian government, Prabowo Subianto stressed

TOKYO, March 25. /TASS/. President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto said that the country joins the BRICS New Development Bank after meeting with its chief Dilma Rousseff in Jakarta.

"The Government of Indonesia made a decision to join the BRICS New Development Bank," the Indonesian leader said, cited by the Tempo web portal.

The decision was made after the proposal made by Rousseff and following consultations with the financial bloc of the Indonesian government, Subianto added.
