Trump alleges Russia got information about US 'super-duper rocket'

In the past three years, Pentagon officials have repeatedly recognized that the US was behind Russia and China in hypersonic weapons development

NEW YORK, October 24. /TASS/. Russia allegedly received information about a US "super-duper rocket" before creating its own one, former US President Donald Trump said, addressing his supporters in New Hampshire.

"You know that Russia stole a super-duper rocket, those fly super fast. They stole during the Barack Obama administration. They stole classified drawings and built it," Trump said.

In the past three years, Pentagon officials have repeatedly recognized that the US was behind Russia and China in hypersonic weapons development. In December 2020, then-US Secretary of Defense Mark Esper said that Washington was trying to catch up.
