MOSCOW, October 28. /TASS/. Questioned Ukrainian prisoners of war have testified that mercenaries from the United States, Britain and Poland participate in hostilities on the Ukrainian side, the press-service of Russia’s Investigative Committee said following an on-site conference the IC’s chief, Alexander Bastrykin held in Lugansk.
He dwelt at length upon the participation of mercenaries in the hostilities on the Ukrainian side, as well as the instruction of Ukrainian nationalists abroad in methods of conducting warfare.
"The IC chief was briefed on the work along these lines. It was stated that the questioned Ukrainian prisoners of war had provided evidence of the participation of foreign mercenaries from Poland, Britain and the United States in Ukraine’s armed units," the IC said.
