MOSCOW, March 25. /TASS/. The Russian Prosecutor General's Office declared the activities of the NATO-funded international non-governmental organization The European Leadership Network undesirable in Russia, the press service of the office said.
"The organization's tasks are promotion of the concept of NATO expansion, advocacy of an anti-Russian agenda, and demonstrative support for the crimes of Ukrainian neo-Nazis," the press office specified.
Countries that disagree with the course of the collective West are called aggressors and the objectives of the special military operation are named aggressive in materials published on the organization’s information resources, according to the Russian Prosecutor General's Office.
In addition, the Young Generation Leaders Network on Euro-Atlantic Security was formed to collect various kinds of information and work with young people. The group is also actively sponsored, including by organizations that are considered undesirable in Russia - the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation.
"The European Leadership Network was founded in 2011 by a former British diplomat. Its declared goals are to provide practical solutions to political and security challenges. It is financially supported by NATO, the United Kingdom's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Finland's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Heinrich Boell Foundation (recognized as undesirable in Russia).
