KURSK, March 24. /TASS/. The Russian Armed Forces have regained control over a substantial section of the state border in the Sumy region, a military source reported to TASS.

"Our forces have restored control over a significant portion of the state border in the Sumy area," the source stated.

He noted that in the vicinity of Guyev, Russian troops are actively clearing forested areas. Ukrainian soldiers in the region are facing shortages of food and ammunition. The Ukrainian command has prohibited personnel from surrendering, threatening reprisals against their relatives and friends, he added.
