Russian forces advance 200 meters in Zaporozhye Region — official

It is reported that Russian forces also carried out a number of successful attacks towards Novodonetskoye and Novomayorskoye, DPR

MELITOPOL, October 24. /TASS/. Russian forces carried out a successful attack near settlements of Priyutnoye and Novodarovka in the Zaporozhye Region, advancing 200 meters, Vladimir Rogov, Chairman of the "We are Together with Russia" movement told TASS.

"Our assault troops did a good job between Priyutnoye and Novodarovka. They have entrenched 200 meters further," the official said, adding that Russian forces also carried out a number of successful attacks towards Novodonetskoye and Novomayorskoye, DPR.

The Ukrainian army has been making futile offensive attempts since June 4. On October 5, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Kiev has lost over 90,000 personnel and over 550 tanks in four months. On October 15, Putin said that the Ukrainian counteroffensive failed completely, even though Kiev prepares new active offensive operation on certain swaths of the frontline.
