Medvedev advises Warsaw to never forget multibillion-dollar Soviet aid

It is reported that one more option is an adamant refusal to take into account Warsaw’s demands

MOSCOW, October 28. /TASS/. Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev has suggested replying with a firm refusal or a counter-claim to Warsaw’ demands for compensating for "war damage," allegedly caused to Poland by the Soviet Union during World War II.

In a post uploaded to his Telegram channel on Friday, he said that such demands "can be responded to in two ways."

"It might be possible to put forward a counter-claim, a bill for everything that the Soviet Union shared with Poland during the period of socialism. That’s hundreds of billions of dollars," Medvedev said about one proposed option.

Or, he continued, there can be another one - an adamant refusal to take into account Warsaw’s demands.
