Caring for people in the broadest sense, as well as ties between various confessions and areas of life make Russian people united, powerful, and invincible, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Sunday at the ceremony of awarding the titles of Hero of Labor and state awards.

"As they used to say, it is the connection between the city and the countryside, the connection between science, creativity, industrial production, art, caring for people in the broadest sense of the word, ties between our traditional brotherly, sisterly confessions - all this makes us united, powerful, invincible, forward-thinking Russian people," Putin said.

"The country is aware of and appreciative of your efforts, accomplishments, and achievements. We really hope that you will continue to make significant contributions to Russia's progress," Putin said, congratulating all the participants of the meeting.
