Over 130 Russians wounded over week due to Ukrainian military attacks, 16 killed

Mass drone attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces targeted civilian infrastructure in the Saratov and Rostov regions

MOSCOW, March 25. /TASS/. More than 130 civilians, including four children, were wounded, while 16 people were killed in a week as a result of attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The highest number of casualties occurred in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Belgorod, Kursk, and Kherson regions, as well as the Lugansk People’s Republic, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rodion Miroshnik said.

"Over the past week, 150 civilians suffered from shelling: 134 people were wounded, including 4 minors, 16 people were killed. <…> Against the backdrop of discussions about striving for a peaceful settlement, Kiev has, for the second week in a row, shown an increase in the number of shellings of civilian infrastructure in Russian territories. <…> The highest number of casualties has been recorded in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Belgorod, Kursk, Kherson regions, and the Lugansk People’s Republic," Miroshnik stated.

He added that in total, Ukrainian forces fired over 1,900 various munitions at Russian territory in the past week. Mass drone attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces targeted civilian infrastructure in the Saratov and Rostov regions. "Residential homes, energy infrastructure, emergency service transportation, medical and educational institutions, commercial facilities, and parking areas were hit," Miroshnik noted.
