MOSCOW, February 24. /TASS/. Relations between Moscow and Beijing play a stabilizing role in global affairs and have no sinister objectives, President Vladimir Putin of Russia and President Xi Jinping of China stated in a phone call, according to the Kremlin press service.
The two leaders "pointed out that Russia-China foreign policy ties are an important factor of stability in global affairs." "These strategic ties aren’t subject to external influence and are not directed against anyone," the Kremlin press service said in a statement.
Moscow and Beijing maintain a comprehensive strategic partnership based on mutual trust and broad economic cooperation, while explicitly rejecting alliances targeting third countries. Both nations have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening ties while respecting each other’s sovereignty and refraining from interference in internal affairs.
