MOSCOW, April 11. /TASS/. Allied relations between Moscow and Astana are a driver of stability in Central Asia and in Eurasia in general, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said after talks with his visiting Kazakh counterpart, Murat Nurtleu, on Tuesday.
"We share the opinion that Russian-Kazakh cooperation, including within the Collective Security Treaty Organization, is a major factor of stability in Central Asia and helps strengthen Eurasian security in general," he said.
The two top diplomats agreed a plan of consultations between the two countries’ foreign ministries.
