Activist says at least 16 shells fired by Ukraine hit Energodar

As of now, there are no reports of damage to civilian infrastructure or casualties

MOSCOW, October 4. /TASS/. Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia civil society group, on Tuesday said Ukrainian forces had fired at least 16 shells at Energodar.

"Fighters of the Ukrainian forces opened fire on the riverbank area of the city of energy industry workers. At least 16 hits. As of now, there are no reports of damage to civilian infrastructure or casualties," he said on Telegram.

Rogov said preliminary reports indicated shelling was done with US-made 155mm-caliber M777 howitzers.

The data on damage is being verified, he said.
