MOSCOW, December 11. /TASS/. The mutual trade turnover of Russia and India reached $46.5 bln in January - September 2024 and it may hit $100 bln by 2030, Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dmitry Volvach said during the plenary session of the 15th India-Russia business dialog.

"The leaders of our countries just recently, in July of this year declared and set at the summit in Moscow a very ambitious goal for us, for economic agencies, between the governments of our countries - to reach the $100 bln trade turnover between Russia and the Republic of India. I would say for reference that our mutual trade was about $46.5 bln in January - September of this year. It grew by 15% against the last year. This is the good and stable growth of our trade. It is diversifying indeed. Russian exports are growing, which is very important. Imports from India remain at a high level, and also with the very broad range of goods, work, and services," the official said.

"The Russian Federation, I would like to stress once again, was, is, and remain the reliable partner and the supplier of the range of goods that enjoy the greatest demand and that we can produce competitively, deliver with consideration of logistics and be competitive by price in the Indian market," Volvach added.
