EC president refuses to comment on claims of China’s arms supplies to Russia

Ursula von der Leyen believes that this is a bilateral matter of countries

WASHINGTON, March 11. /TASS/. European Commission (EC) President Ursula von der Leyen refused to comment on Washington’s claims that China was preparing to deliver weapons to Russia.

"I think that is a bilateral matter of the respective countries," she told the press after a meeting with US President Joe Biden on Friday.

The EC president did not mention China when she answered to a reporter’s question about issues raised at her talks with Biden. In her words, the meeting focused on three major areas: the Inflation Reduction Act, the situation in Ukraine and anti-Russian sanctions, and energy security of Europe and the United States.
