Russian army repels four attacks by Ukrainian assault groups in Kupyansk direction

According to the ministry, enemy losses amounted to up to 120 military personnel

MOSCOW, December 31. /TASS/. Russian military personnel repelled four attacks by Ukraine’s assault groups in the Kupyansk direction over the past day, Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

"In the Kupyansk direction, units of the battlegroup West - thanks to their competent actions and support from army aviation and artillery fire - repelled four attacks by assault groups of the 30th and 115th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian armed forces in the area of the settlement of Sinkovka, Kharkov region. In addition, defeat was inflicted to the manpower of the 1st brigade of the operational duties brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine in the area of the village of Stelmakhovka, Lugansk People's Republic," the ministry said.

According to the ministry, enemy losses amounted to up to 120 military personnel, two infantry fighting vehicles, two vehicles and a Leopard 2 tank.
