Putin approves grain allocation for Afghanistan if needed — envoy

Harvest outlooks made in Afghanistan are discouraging, for grain in the first instance, Zamir Kabulov said

MOSCOW, June 14. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin approved in principle grain allocation for Afghanistan if the need arises, special envoy of the President Zamir Kabulov said on Tuesday on the air with the Channel One.

"The interdepartmental delegation reported its consideration in conclusion of its work in Afghanistan, and Vladimir Vladimirovich [Putin] approved in principle allocation, if there is the need, of a certain grain quantity subject to the expected harvest in Russia, hopefully good. Volumes of such air will be determined by the Russian Government according to the specific situation further on," Kabulov said.
