MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. Russia is exploring the opportunity of participating in the upgrade of oil refineries in Pakistan, Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilyov told reporters after the meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation of Russia and Pakistan.

"In the energy sphere, certainly, we are supplying oil to the territory of Pakistan. We also talked about participation in the upgrade of oil refineries," the minister said.

Russia and Pakistan are also considering other opportunities for the activities of Russian companies in the gas and oil sphere in Pakistan, Tsivilyov added.
