YEKATERINBURG, November 3 (Itar-Tass) —— A railway bridge collapsed in Russia’s Urals region overnight after a heavy truck crashed into its pillar on the Yekaterinburg-Perm highway, the local emergency service said on Thursday.
The driver was injured and hospitalized. There were no other injuries, but traffic was closed on the highway, it said.
The accident occurred near the town of Revda in Sverdlovsk region and now traffic has to bypass the place through the city of Pervouralsk.
