Russia’s top brass points to rapidly deteriorating humanitarian situation in Ukraine

The most difficult situation persists in Kiev, Kharkov, Sumy, Chernigov, Mariupol and in some other populated areas, Head of Russia’s National Defense Control Center Mikhail Mizintsev pointed out

MOSCOW, March 4. /TASS/. The disastrous humanitarian situation that has emerged on the larger part of Ukrainian territory is rapidly deteriorating, Head of Russia’s National Defense Control Center Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev said on Friday.

"By now, a catastrophic humanitarian situation has developed on the larger part of Ukrainian territory and, unfortunately, it keeps deteriorating rapidly. The most difficult situation persists in Kiev, Kharkov, Sumy, Chernigov and Mariupol and also in some other populated areas. Actually a humanitarian catastrophe is in place in these cities," the general said.

Despite all the calls, the Nazis are blocking thousands of Ukrainian citizens and also a large number of foreigners and are not releasing them for evacuation to safe places while terrorists of nationalist battalions continue using civilians as human shields, he said.
