MOSCOW, March 6. /TASS/. The Kharkov Region military-civilian administration’s center for documenting war crimes has uncovered three makeshift graves with the bodies of 17 civilians, including a child, near Kupyansk, Yevgeny Lisnyak, the administration’s deputy head, said at a briefing.
"Today, we are once again forced to bring our attention to the heinous crimes committed by Ukrainian militants against the residents of the recently liberated territories of the Kharkov Region’s Kupyansk district. Members of the center for documenting war crimes have uncovered three makeshift graves created by servicemen of Ukraine’s armed formations during their retreat. According to the preliminary data, 17 civilians, including a child, were the victims," he said.
The deputy head added that most of the deceased showed signs of being forcibly held, strangled, and had other types of trauma and gunshot wounds. In particular, the bodies of two people who had been killed by shots to the back of the head were found in the settlement of Dvurechnaya, "which indicates the intentional nature of the killing."
"These crimes committed by the Kiev regime's henchmen call not just for wide coverage, but also for a thorough international investigation. Crimes against civilians have no statute of limitations, and their perpetrators must face appropriate punishment," he emphasized.
